Workplace safety and environment is an on-line short course for people who want to improve their background knowledge in the implementation of WHS (work health and safety) and environmental care policies and procedures. It is most suitable for personnel who take some level of responsibility for the implementation of their company’s safety systems and environmental policies.
The reference sources you’ll consult include your own organisation’s policies and procedures, plus the following learning materials on this website:
You’ll be asked to complete three assignments, covering:
short-answer questions relating to safety and environmental care policies and procedures
an on-site risk assessment of your own work area
recommenation for one improvement to a company work procedure or control measure
This is a non-accredited course, so there are no formal ‘competency’ requirements. However, you’ll be asked to submit your assigments for marking, and our assessor will provide feedback on your submissions.
Course fee per participant: $154 (inc. GST)
The course may be undertaken on its own, however, it is designed to go hand-in-hand with the other non-accredited short courses in this series.
